Choose from one of three seatings:
11 a.m.  or  1:30 p.m.  or  3:30 p.m.

Location:

Winery building at Sheldrake Point on Cayuga Lake

(access by driving past the main Tasting Room, up the hill, and past the red barn and  vine rows; park by the dark green building).

This popular, annual event takes place in our winemaking building.

It is an intimate affair featuring tastings of our 2012 vintage in progress,

taken directly from the barrel and tank. Your guides will be

Winegrower/Partner Bob Madill and Winemaker David Breeden with Club Manager Antoinette serving as your host.

The experience includes sampling small foods with the wines to gain a better appreciation of the affinity of food and wine. Foods will be specially prepared to compliment a portion of the white wines. The menu will feature seasonal and local ingredients that complement the wines.  Stay tuned for the menu which will be posted and shared in the weeks ahead of the April date.

$22 per member

$30 per member guest

Reserve your seats here by Friday, April 12th or contact Wine Club Manager Antoinette at (607) 532-9401 ext. 106.

NOTE:  An optional Food & Wine paired dinner featuring Sheldrake Point wines and Winemaker, David Breeden, will take place later this evening, 6:30 p.m., at Hazelnut Kitchen restaurant in nearby Trumansburg.   This dinner is especially designed for Club Members but open to all members of the public.

The local and seasonally inspired meal will be three courses, artfully paired with a specific wine.  The prix fixe menu, including the wines, is $50 per person. The menu will be posted in the near future, by April 1.

If you plan to spend the evening or weekend in the area, this is a great way to extend your Finger Lakes experience.  A few Bed & Breakfasts are located in the quaint downtown of the village, which are within walking distance from the restaurant. Juniper Hill bed and breakfast, an easy jaunt, has waved their usual two night stay requirement if you prefer to spend one night only in the area. If you are interested in attending this dinner, contact Club Manager, Antoinette.  She will happily also help you plan your visit to the area.  Contact her via email or at 607-532-9401, extension 106.
