Sheldrake Point presents our wines in two distinctly different tasting room locations, on Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake. Whichever site you visit, you’ll find a beautiful, inviting space with friendly staff eager to share their knowledge of wine with you. We offer a variety of tasting menus that range from our best selling wines, our dry style vinifera wines and reserve wines, dessert wines and estate produced ice wines. Once you have tasted our wines, we'll be happy to tell you what wines from other Finger Lakes vintners you might enjoy.

Cayuga Lake

If you set out to visit along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, stop by our main location at 7448 County Road 153, Ovid, N.Y, set alongside Cayuga Lake and accessible by car or boat. This location is home to our vineyard, winemaking and original tasting room, as well as our artisan gift shop, brimming with a selection of fun and eclectic gifts and foods from Finger Lakes artisans and area producers. Some of the New York made products you’ll find include pottery, books, handbags, posters and local foods such as farm fresh cheeses, maple syrup, sauces, jams, crackers, and handmade chocolates.

Seneca Lake

When setting out along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, visit our newest tasting room at 5930 State Route 414, Hector, N.Y. This contemporary space features our award winning wines coupled with a deck spanning the width of the building overlooking an amazing hillside view of Seneca Lake. Regional Artist exhibits are regularly featured and rotate every other month.
